Silenced like a bird in a cage
Surviving in the game of life trying to fly
Wings clipped, stuck to the ground
Trying to speak, but can’t make a sound
The silence is loud, but the sound around is louder
Wanting to disappear like powder in the air
Lacking power and possessing diffidence
Wanting to speak and make a difference
But then again, we’re all just surviving in the game of life
Some people are stuck on the ground and some can fly
Some speaking and some not making a sound
The silence is loud, but the sound around is louder
Wanting to fly away, like bee to flower, there is the air and I am the powder
