Summer Poem- Eli Schaadt
The sun rises early
And sets late at night
The day is so long
Lets see what excites
The wind in our hair
The sun in our eyes
There is nothing better
Than watching the sunrise
No more school
We are all done
Until next year
When we will have begun
We finally have freedom
No more homework
We can be kids
And enjoy the freedom
All of the memories
We will never forget
Even when we are old
We will remember it
The sandy beaches
The slippery slides
The trips with friends and family
All infront of our eyes
Summer is finally here
It is time to enjoy
It won’t last forever
So go swimming and fishing
Until the fall again
When we will be wishing.
