Where daffodils melt to honey

Light trickles on from dawn

Lemon zest stings the horizon

Of which they’re rather fond

Orange kisses turn to flame

Rest here within the heat

To bleed into the waves below

Sand’s hiss beneath their feet

Plush blankets to lips grace

Heat risen on their cheeks

Cherries placed upon their tongues

Love that is most sweet

There of sea and berries

Lavender blends as one

Sky frothed as frosty waters

All is nearly done

Repeat it as it sinks

Below the waves, goodbye

Until tomorrow’s deepest blue

Sun sings its lullaby

Sunsets hold a sense of love I don't understand. It holds our attention, holds us. It's universally loved, and can we ever find out why?
