The Hairy Octopus, Abraham
A long, long time ago,
Deep under the sea,
There lived an unfortunate octopus
Who had been cursed by a bee.
This bee had quite been offended
When the octopus Abraham
Laughed, saying it made no sense
To have a fuzzy bum.
The bee called the octopus
“Ignorant, stupid pervert!”
But the damage was already done,
Burt had already been hurt.
“I curse you and your descendants!”
Cried Burt as he stung Abe’s head,
And then “Beeqaksibees!” was the last thing
Abraham claims Burt said.
At first Abe felt but a tiny sting
Upon his shiny baldness,
But then a tickle, and then some more
And his hair grew like the wilderness.
“Noo!” Abe screamed in despair,
“My beautiful silky shine!”
He desperately tried to pull them out
But his tentacles weren’t for such a design.
The more he struggled, the more they tangled,
Until eventually he abided.
This is why this beautiful creature
Found the deep dark ocean to hide in.
Until this day, some fish do claim
To have seen a special weed.
They say it grows in the darkest depths
This glossy lustrous breed.
Little do they know of poor Abe’s tale,
Who may never show his face again.
Frankly he got what he deserved,
He shouldn’t have been so mean back then.
