The End Of Man
God is alone, wheat and apples chilled to the bone,
Crops are scares, crows wingless,
stars blue, and ringed like a plagues fingers.
The children laugh and breath fast, their skin peeling and dry,
Cows and sheep dead, the ringings of flies in their sty,
the preacher is coming, Look alive! look alive!
O Lord make my blood white!
O Lord give back my sight!
The dead ones are coming, the live ones are going,
The fates spool is sewing, Charon's wooden boat rowing,
how did it all go so wrong? I thought we were all-knowing?

I wanted the theme of this to sort of be the apocalypse. Or some kind of near future of the world we are currently destroying.
