When I Died

It wasent the suicide that killed me, it was the depression that ate me alive day and night

I had to go away, my days were no longer bright

My love for you was so delight, me and you were so divine

You hurt inside and look to me high in the sky, It hurts you I never said goodbye

I took my life to save yours, born again inside that mind

When I died I took pieces of your heart so you and I will never die

You can't deny, i've made you cry

I told you to have a good day, and I was on my way

Nineteen haunts you, the thoughts it brought you

Im sorry darling for the way I left you alone, nobody to hold

I passed my pain onto the next, now your heart contains all the strain

Both you and I took an oath, hope that goes to show, were both so very broke

I left you alone, with no ways to cope

Your thoughts became overgrown, without any hope

You and I are the same two hearts, one flame

It took too long for you to claim, me breaking you is not the same

Never did I do it to make you cry, I just couldn't handle this life

I moved onto the next, its brought me great rest

Take care my love, i'll see you in the next.
