Learn to Love
Learn to Love
Nobody is perfect and that’s okay.
Learn to love anyway.
Instead of looking in the mirror
and hating the body you see,
learn to love who you are
and what you will be.
Learn to love your imperfections,
even if your skin is not the ideal complexion.
You may not be perfect in your eyes,
but to someone else, you are all they idolize.
Learn to love your laugh so hideous,
that is your unique sound of joy.
Learn to love your beautiful and amazing self,
do not change for a boy.
Learn to love the stretch marks you rub
in an attempt to make them go away
and the fuzzy hair that grows
when you forget to shave.
Learn to love that you are not perfect,
and realize it is okay.
