Never Shall I Forget
Never Shall I Forget
Never shall I forget that feeling,
The feeling of coldness on my skin
It gave me shivers,
Bringing me back to the river.
Never shall I forget that color,
Evoking the feeling of being under a blue cover
As bright as the sky,
Couldn't see with my eye.
Never shall I forget the movement,
Crashing into what’s ahead
Feeling like you're gliding,
But suddenly rising
Causing one to get lost,
Which would lead to exhaust.
Never shall I forget the pressure,
Pressing all up against my skin
It took all my strength,
To fight within.
Never shall I forget the noise,
Not being able to identify what it is
Hearing thoughts inside your head,
Predicting what's ahead.
Never.
