Dear Rage
I miss the old you rage.
The version of you that threw people out of bed
The old you that made people look in the mirror to see the change that is within them.
The power
The urge
The want
The version of you that maked people's hands shake
Minds pulsate
That combined with others can make such a wave it tears through cities.
Making way for new generations
This power, the want, the urge that you created in youth
Has trickled down in frustration and anger
The way you feel when you want to gets waffles out of the toaster
but it's too hot, and you have to wait before taking a bite
Or the feeling when you chip your favorite cup
but you can't do anything about it because it was limited edition disney
You have become aimless
Aiming at everything yet nothing
Like trying to find the cup yet knowing you, won't find it.
Blind
The old you didn't wait for waffles.
The old you simply couldn't wait.
Because you were too busy making change
I miss the old you rage.
