Never Knowing
We shared a birthday, but never knew. Why keep this from us
all our lives? All other twins know. Just cause you thought it was a cute idea.

I'm a twin, and my brother and I have never known who was older until our eighteenth birthday. My parents have never told us because when we were really little, my mom was in a twins club that had many other parents that also had twins. One time there were a set of twins they were talking to, and they said they didn't know who was older until they were eighteen. So my mom thought that was a good idea.
When we found out who was older, it was kind of like a gender reveal. My mom made cupcakes and put in blue frosting for my brother because he's the older twin. We did the "reveal" in front of my whole family because everyone wanted to know.
