my mama’s a goner
she’s a goner, she was never mine
god, i see her in reflections
phantom, oh, she’s a ghost
she haunts, and she whispers
she is mine,
i can’t believe she’s mine
and just as she is mine, i am hers
hostage, my heart is bound
together we are intertwined
just a thread tied to her ring
a piece to a greater game
a stranger in her life
forevermore i see her in me
she hides in my feelings
but she creeps into my soul
no fear, just exhaustion
with her, i am nothing
without her, i am a fool
i suppose, just like she
i am a goner
