Stop, rewind, turn back time, and

Travel to the past, reminisce the

Countless things I’ve lost in the fire

Of life, the roaring flames

Having yet to be tamed with

The spell of a magician, a

Blessing from God. Now I hear the bubbling

Of a future stirring, the sound

Of the gears churning for

An epic appearance of the new world.

The last word of each line in my poem corresponds to the line, “And the fire flames with a bubbling sound for world," by Louis Macneice's poem "Snow"
