Birds Don't Fly
Blackbird holds the color
The red bird holds the hue
the blackbird flaunts the fire
the red bird leads a gentle trail of blue
Shades of color
We’re only birds for a reason
gaslit into separation
Only to be thinking the same thing
Flying above the greenlight
Slowing down at yellow
The sky isn’t limitless
because you weren't
You’re just as alive as you were yesterday
Until you aren’t

It's about someone who has spent their entire life trying to please others and follow someone's rules. The black and red bird represent these two sides. At the end all the time has past and there's nothing left to do because you let your life be wasted by someone else.
