At War With Myself
I have found
there is beauty
in realising
the battle you have fought
has not been against
any foe
or evil
and that once you put down your sword
you will realise there is no one left to fight
for it was always
you.

This piece is reflecting the battle that we all face with ourselves. As humans we tend to doubt who we are and become overly ciritical of ourselves. It's important to understand that we have to love and accept who we are as induviduals before we can be sucessful and obtain our upmost potential. I believe that once we lay down the metaphorical sword we use to slice our own dreams we can have the ability obtain true peace and hapiness.
