Wearing a mask
We have to wear these masks,
Although I can hardly breathe
All different colors and styles,
As far as the eye can see.
This has become our new normal,
And I find myself adjusting
If you go a while without washing,
It starts to look disgusting.
I don’t like this covering my face,
Makes me feel anxious when I don’t have a choice
As soon as I walk in I must put it on,
And so I hate the thing that covers my voice.
