I’m freeman! And you are?
Are you-freeman-too?
Then that makes two of us!
Ya better tell! Others be jealous - you know!
How fabulous - to be - freeman!
How pathetic - like most plants -
To grow with loneliness - goes no where else -
And fade where seeded!

My idea for this poem was actually inspired by Emily Dickinson’s “I am nobody, who are you?”. After reading her poem, I fell in love with it and wanted to write something similar in structure but not the content, since I wanted use her way to express my own feelings and messages.
