Ode to my Mom
When I am happy, you are next to me
When I am angry, you stand behind me
When I am sad you, kneel down next to me
Throughout my life
every inch I have turned
You have been there
The love of a mother is unconditional
and the love I have for you is immeasurable
You gave me life, nurtured me, taught me, and fought for me
You have carried the world our your shoulders
and have moved mountains
We have talked about my future
and who I want to be when I grow up
But little do you know
The person I want to be the most in this world is you
