Born For You
The world is in my hand,
Walking along at night.
As I stare at the brightest stars,
I ask, again and again,
the same question:
Who am I?
Truly,
Who am I?
Some say they born for those they fall for,
While many more think they are for the stars hanging in the sky.
I say,
I am born for you.

As far as I recall, I wrote this poem by an “accident”. On a normal night, I was heading home, cold and tired from school. Unconsciously, my eyes were attracted by a star; it wasn’t so bright compared to other ones, but it was the most beautiful one (I could tell but I couldn’t tell why). And then I wondered, aren’t we like all those countless stars hanging in the sky, all looking similar, and the only way to stand out is to be the brightest.
