The season is coming that brings joy to all

as we hang up the lights and decorate the halls.

We sing together and bake all day long

as we wait for the day our savior was born.

We give and give gets which makes the day better

as we get to see the smile on each other's faces. 

The lights are hung at each park and town so

each person can come and see the holiday’s cheer.

With each gift that is opened under the tree 

people become thankful for what they received.

Families come together to decorate the tree 

and through each window, you can see the holiday glee. 

Christmas movies are a very big thing

especially with the ones we call family. 

Ornaments are hung from the tree

some with memories and some just plain. 

I love to see the smile that Christmas brings

as we get to get off of school for two weeks. 

This holiday is my favorite because of the things

that I get to do with my amazing family.
