GRANDMA
I will never forget you.
I could’ve stayed in my room and cried
I wanted to be like you
Someone who saw positive in everything
I still have the blankets you made
Can't forget the scrapbooks
Or the limited edition Frozen pin you gave me
I keep these things close
The day you found out you were battling was a hard one
I remember you crying once you told me. A million thoughts were going through my head.
I still can't believe you're gone
Two whole years without you
I miss you so much
I wish I could hear your voice
I wish I could hear your laugh
I wish I could say “I love you”
Just one last time.

I wrote this about my grandma that I lost to cancer, so this poem was very special to me.
