I am proud to say my biggest blessing is my mother.

The woman in my life I have known longer than no other.

Her patience is her strength. 

Forme, she will go to any length

Teaching children is her passion,

but she has some questionable fashion. 

Even though she has some long days,

she will keep a big smile in the hallways

Even though her skin is starting to wrinkle,

her bright, green eyes will never lose their twinkle. 

Every morning my mom will say

that I must not forget to pray. 

She always remains humble and kind,

always having others in mind. 

Being selfless is her strongest trait,

and she says all her personal problems can wait. 

My mom’s love for all her children is strong. 

All of her kids feel loved and know they belong. 

Her best friend is God
