It’s never too late to take time. To make time. They deserve it. It’s never too late to decide enough is enough, to finally give in. Or to take control.

It depends.

It’s never too late to understand their perspective, to let them have their space. They need to get out of their situation, their circumstance, they need to understand. How can I make them understand? I know they won’t. I know they won’t listen to me when I say “It’s Never too late," with air slowly leaving my lungs, the color leaving my face, with my clothing getting more and more wet with the water of the ocean, as I wade into the waves. The oddly calm waves, that seem out of place, but at the same time it’s so important that they exist in that state right now. It’s never too late, it’s never too late, it’s never too late…

They won’t believe me, they won’t believe me till they believe themself, till they decide to understand. It’s a decision, and they need to understand. But they won’t. And I guess it’s never too late to try. 

But. It’s never too late to take time for yourself, to make sure you’re okay first, because you deserve it just as much as everyone else, regardless of everything you’ve done.
