Love

Love makes you naive, 

it makes you stupid,

They say you will get greeted by cupid,

  Live your happily ever after with your lover,

It never works out for me, why should I even bother,

It leaves me empty,

 a cold spot in my heart,

I thought you were that missing part,

I guess I was wrong,

But I don’t understand,

Why is love so glorified, 

All it does is horrify,

It pulls on the heart strings, 

it causes overwhelming pain,

Many think it’s a game,

What makes it a game when it involves a person, 

What makes it a game when it involves feelings,

I was right,

Love is stupid,

It only causes pain
