Painted in Black

As I walk around this old town
I see the black of the earth
Not the color of the rainbows
My eyes are glazed
Not by beauty of light
But the darkness
That is upon me
Everything I see
Is lonesome
And drowned in the sorrow of
Blackness
But the color
Will never come back
Not tell I
Meet my maker
That brings me down
Back to the darkness
And flames of hell...
