I've pleaded with you

I've tried

Why isn't it you want to stay alive

I know you're tired

But now your body i can never revive

So Let me touch your hand

The warmth before you go

You lay there with sorrow

A soft look on your face

A blank canvas

All your emotions are concealed

My heart is breaking, and it can never be healed

So let my touch your hand

The warmth before you go

I remember the nights we were together

You'll soon forget that

And all our memories

The love we shared

I now only hear the sound of sad melodies

So Let me touch your hand

The warmth before you go

The last breath of fresh air

The cruel time as your passing

Will seem to last forever

What will i do when your gone

My heart will never get better

So Let me touch your hand

The warmth before you go

My heart will weep

And the rain will continue pouring

Any minute it'll be over

I can't let you go

Into heaven you will soon crossover

So Let me touch your hand

The warmth before you go

Your heart steady beeping

The same rhythm as mine

But now your breathing quickly

And your whispers sounds shy

Your face now, is turning sickly

So Let me touch your hand

The warmth before you go

Forever i will remember

The smile that beamed so bright

The hugs that held me tight

The cries we shared at night

The feelings we felt under the moonlight

So Let me touch your hand

The warmth before you go

But now you've faded into the light

Taken by the breath of death

I lean to kiss your cheek

As i leaned over your body, it felt weak

And when i left

I touched your hand

And it was cold when you were gone

So now i will walk on my own

Continue the life you've imagined

Embrace the love you've given

But that will never be enough

For now your gone

I miss the touch of you hand

And the warmth before you were gone

A sad piece about death of a loved one. A little dark, a little sad, a little happy ending. Dont worry if u shed a tear when reading this, I may have shed a couple writing it.
