your first love
the one who teaches you what butterflies feel like
the first person you believe when they tell you
you are beautiful
adding a glimmer of hope to your eyes
your reason for staying up late
waking up early
and everything in between
forming who you are
and pushing you to who you want to be
heart bursting pulse thumping mind racing
blinding happiness
you didn’t know what love was
until that one person
they change you
for better or for worse
but personally
it was for worse
f**k
that
one
person
