Toxic
Poison fills my brain
Little by little
Year by year.
The toxins seeping in
Claiming me as their home.
Flowing in my ears
From the words I hear.
I've never had the chance
At a cathartic moment,
Where I can finally let the smoke erupt
Like in a cartoon.
I have to play it safe
I have to do as I'm told
I have to take
The toxins
In.
Well screw this second hand smoke
Because I never did anything wrong.
I am beyond ready
To extract the fumes.
I am not a toxic person,
You are.
