You Dont Know Me
The sound flows through me like a funnel,
Each note a love letter to my ears.
Rays of lyrical genius thaw a cold soul
And bright tunes contrast ominous themes.
But alas, you don’t know me,
For i am one of many.
While you fight your battles on a stage for everyone
to see,
You’re unknowingly changing lives.
Your depression and anxiety transforms,
Turning into a flicker of hope to the unhopeful
The room is amplified
Your words echo “stay alive, stay alive for me”
You saved us with those words.
You love us, but you don't know us.
Sunflower petals drift down,
Leaving an everlasting memory of hope.
You have no idea the extent that we love you.
You don't know us.
But we certainly know you.

This poem is based around a band that i love, twenty one pilots. I went to one of their concerts over a year ago and it changed my life for the better. It was my first concert and it really showed me how much music means to me.
