New orleans, a beautiful place.
Know your way around and walk a fast pace.
Street performers everywhere jumping almost into space.
If you’re a local you can spot a tourist, you can see it in their face.
“How do they live?” most out of towners want to know.
They think we live in the French Quarter, but we simply don’t have the urge to go.
After mardi gras the people leave and they all go back to their humble abodes.
