Sit down
look in the mirror.
The crown on my head is a beacon of my death.
I sit in silence,
the gates which are my lungs begin to lock.
I sit in fear,
that the drugs pumping through my veins
won’t be enough.
I sit.
Doing nothing,
but dying.
And I’ll continue to sit
because that’s all I can do,
that’s all I know how to do.
