Trap in my mind
And strain against my mouth
I thrash and ridicule
Why didn’t i say that
I should have said that
my voice should crescendo
My voice diminishes

I am nothing to do with that at all
My trap is my conscience
My mind is my demise
Why can’t i just be brave
Why can’t i just defend
When i open my mouth
A whisper comes out
i am loud
