Alone I stand.

Begging to be noticed.

Pleading for a friend.

Longing for a destiny. 

Dreams slip through my grasp,

Pain seeps through my wounds,

Darkness swallows me whole,

As I wait for you. 

Your soothing looks abolish me,

Your laugh makes me ever so full, 

Your memories crowd my mind

as a flame burns through my soul. 

Though amidst a beautiful sunset  

Is darkness at its best, 

The colors swirl in my head 

Clawing at my quest. 

The shadow’s where I am forced to lie,

Isolated and alone, 

For my inside has become empty, 

From all the times I cry. 

Your cold eyes pierced my soul, 

As I remain unknown, 

By my side you will not lay,

For I will be alone.
