in love with the universe

she looks at him
as if he hung the moon,
stars dance in her eyes
every time he speaks
his imagination, limitless,
like countless galaxies
and with her telescope in hand,
she explores every inch of him
her heart rains diamonds
like the stones
that peacefully storm
from the heavens of neptune
and as a man on the moon,
his soul leaves footprints
within the intricate walls
of her delicate heart
