Powerful Words

Your words strike me like lightning,
Lighting up my planet revealing all my true feelings.
As the words once coded like a hieroglyph escape my mouth,
They spill into the open for all to hear.
My mouth the rifle,
My words the bullet,
I fire the words you never wanted to hear.
I fall deeper and deeper into my emotions,
Like a parachute as it tumbles back down to earth,
Down, down, down.
