Eating Disorders
Peer pressure is real
It starts from day one
Haunting, daunting and taking away the fun
It scares people from school
And jobs they never choose
Peer pressure is the hand that forces our mouths closed
With every bite we eat, it throws on the floor
Ugly, fat, pig, cow the words echo
In our ears
Lose some weight, never eat again, glue your mouth shut
Peer pressure has all of the answers if you’re stuck in a rut
But do they? Do they? Do they know?
All the damage they’ve caused by their hurtful words.
The hair thinning, and stomach pains are just the beginning
Dizziness, fainting, anxiety, and guilt
The list goes on you’ll eventually wilt
Just like a flower, we need food and water too
Our survival depends on it
Love yourself, love yourself again and again
Don’t listen to your peers
They don’t know the real you
