Rhythm
There is a rhythm to life
Which never really ends but
Changes fluidly.
It brings forth from its energy
New ways of singing
New combinations of notes and
Patterns of beats
Which offer ceaseless comfort
But I
I am hard of hearing.
My past has plugged my ears
and pushed my heart to irregular beating
So I never really hear what life is trying to say.
