Trapped
I am trapped.
Along with so many.
We're trapped.
Shattered glass,
Broken glass,
Painted glass.
All trapped.
Inside this coffin of more glass.
Layers of us, 4 to be exact.
Different sizes, different shapes,
All on one another.
I died drink driving,
As so many around me did.
It was all my fault.
My friends told me not to,
But I did anyway.
This is what happens after we're gone,
As we suffer for our mistakes.
Trapped.
After.
Death.

Sadly I couldn't find the original image this piece went with, so excuse the image.
I hope you like this piece. It's my first published one, so please enjoy! I got inspiration at our local art gallery, when an exabition was on showing this artwork.
