A Dead Day
As I looked up at the grey sky, a light drizzle grazed my face. Everything seemed so sad, so dead. The trees stayed still, and it seemed like everything was moving in slow motion. It seemed like everything, was dead. Rain started to drop more and I pondered to myself, why are we here, when such dreadful, dead days existed. These days, that open our eyes, to the sadness that this world faces every day. And that, makes a dead day.

I wrote this piece as I was in a class on a day you would only describe as dead, and so when I started to write this piece it just came out supernaturally since all I was doing was writing my feelings.
