Blood and Glocks

A forgotten baseball bat

snapped in two like a tree struck by lightning,

A bloody Glock 9,

the slide jolted back with fury

Two small ominous bullets

once silver

but now smudged with death


They all lie restlessly

sealed in separate crystal clear bags marked

EVIDENCE

just like the man they killed
