ocean waves

Hearing the ocean waves hit the rocks softly. The cool air blowing my hair back. Thinking of what you would be doing behind me. Smelling the ocean air. Letting the wind talk to me as I stand so still. So far from home but where I need to be. Looking out to the water and the soft gray skies. Thinking of what could be or what could happen just in a second. Just us two at my favorite spot you’ve never been to. In love with the view but also so in love with you. Nervous to look into your eyes but it's also so hard to say goodbye.
