Cold Car
I walk out of my home early in the morning
A gust of wind hits me in the face
The air is ice cold.
I slowly walk while the ice-cold wind continues to blow in my face
I get to my car and instantly turn it on
I turn the heater on all the way and I turn on the seat warmers
I rub my hands together to try and warm them up, but it doesn’t help
I put my music on to try and distract myself from the cold
The car is too cold to even think about anything but the cold
A few minutes pass and I have to get going for school
The car is still cold but I head out anyway
By the time I get to school, the car had finally warmed up
