We speak in storms
Sending hateful words like hail against shattering windows
Our voices echoing like thunder
Tears falling as if they were raindrops
Our love is unstable air yet relatively warm
We are the balance between the living and the dead
Our love is the forest crashing but a flood rising
It’s the wind blowing high and low
Our love is heavy clouds with a chance of rainbows
