LEGOs
I started with you
When I was young.
I wish I could continue with you
When I am older.
You gave me imagination,
Spreading it so large,
It could reach across the globe.
Looking and thinking,
As I would build and build,
Step by step.
Until the finishing piece,
Clicked into its final position.
Little did I know
that these little bricks,
Navigated me
Into what I aspire to be.

I grew up building legos and loving them so much since they also left a big impact. This inspired me to write a poem about them to reflect what I loved as a kid and I what I like now, but don't have time for them.
