Tired
A simple task
Seems insurmountable
As you lay in your bed
Oh so tired
Your eyelids feel so burdensome
As if they were strapped down by weights
You just want to sleep
Have everything drift away
But you need to get up
Go start your day
go to school or work
However, it hurts
It all hurts so much
Like your everything is being torn apart
So you lay in your bed
Oh so tired
When people try to help
You don't want it
They just make it all worse
So you just lie in bed
Just like you have been for weeks
Because it’s too hard
Everything is just too hard
You can’t get up
You can’t start your day
You can’t let them help
But you can stay here in bed all alone
Because your eyelids feel so burdensome
And you're just oh so tired of it all
