Women Have a Voice Too
Women have a voice too.
Just because she wears a smile,
And a red dress doesn’t mean
She wants you.
Just because she is a woman,
Doesn’t mean
She is weaker than you.
Women have a voice too.
Women deserve an opinion.
What they decide
To do with their body
Matters.
The choice to keep,
Or give away,
Or to not keep at all,
Matters.
Every life matters.
You may not be physically stronger,
But she is more
emotionally stronger than you.
These words are written to be heard.
We are screaming them.
We are as determined as a bullet.
Women have a voice too.

I chose the poem because it is very strong and meaningful. It is powerful to all women and I believe every woman deserves a voice.
