Canada Nights
I'm in a foreign place.
Racing up the street, all packed in a car
Racing only to see one big star.
Peering over this cliff so high,
All to see the never ending sky.
Admiring the small town below,
Almost reminding me of years ago.
Something so simple, we stand there in awe,
All admiring the beauty so raw.
Gazing at the sky so bright,
Thinking, “wow I never will forget this sight.”
Red, blue, orange, pink, yellow,
An overwhelming feeling of mellow.
Looking out at this sunset I feel so connected,
Cutting out everything that makes me affected.
In the beauty of nature is where I belong.
