Spring Cleaning
You put way too much pressure on yourself,
You know that,
Breathe.
In and out,
Give the air time to reach your lungs
Before you push it back out.
Remind your lungs how much they appreciate the taste of air.
They haven't had that satisfaction in a while,
Too long in fact.
You are suffocating under the piles you are creating.
Fearful about the constant recurring expectations.
What for?
You need to enjoy this time,
Right now,
Before life gets too hectic
How can I go the extra mile
When my legs are so heavy with all these unnecessary concerns?
I can't.
So it's time for some early spring cleaning,
Time to let some things to go.
