I Am Poetic
September 11, 2019
I am curious and inspired,
I wonder what knowledge can be acquired.
I want the wonders of the world unfurled,
Can’t wait to leave my mark on the world.
I am passionate and kind,
I always worry that there are too many I can't help.
Sometimes my good nature leaves me blind,
But all I can say is “whelp.”
I am a worrywart, I’m too anxious.
Sometimes I want to curl up in a blanket.
There’s no end to reason playing tennis with insecurities,
No stopping worrying about ridiculous possibilities.
I am spirited and loud,
I am excitable and proud.
I appreciate honesty and loyalty above all else,
And I’m really trying my best.
