Monster
If you listened to the beating of my heart
You'd know why the world stops
You'd see the visions of untold stories
A sailor who escaped hatred's ravaging seas.
If you looked into my eyes,
I'd show you my soul,
Let you glimpse into my faltering worlds,
notice the open wounds they left unstitched.
And if you dared to touch my skin
My scars would scream their hateful tales
My veins would pour fire into your touch
As you clasp your hand around mine.
See, I'm dangerous
And only a fool, like you
Would dare to glance into me
See the things I keep hidden
And the monster I could be.

It's a very 3 am thought kind of thing. I don't really like being around people and can be very rude and shut off at times, so based on all of that I sort of came up with this free verse kinda thing
