I feel like no one's real
No one knows how to act normal
Or at least try, somewhat, to care
No one's genuine
Everyone wears a mask
I don't even know
what they mean anymore
When they say "I love you"
I can't tell if it's a lie
Something to make me feel worth
I don't want someone to be nice to me
I want someone to be real
Who truly likes me for who I am
And not saying we are friends
only to be nice
Don't be fake
Not to me

I enjoyed writing this. It was easy to display my feelings or past emotions without worrying about a rhyme scheme or a mysterious design that's hard to grasp. Sometimes words won't come out of my mouth, like when I'm crying in my room or when I can't speak audibly, so writing became my outlet.
